we had the boudin noir for diner with apples and mashed potatoes, It was excellent. The boudin is not fatty at all and well seasoned. I will recommend it to my friends without hesitation. Merci.

Take it from an East European--this is possibly the most authentically flavored blood sausage available.
Do not boil or microwave this sausage; it will burst and crumble. Instead, split it lengthwise and fry both halves, cut side down, in a little oil on medium heat for 2 - 3 minutes. Flip, and watch the casing shrivel and crisp up (which will only take about a minute); you can eat this, or discard it.
My only complaint is the outrageous shipping cost; I order perishable meat products from several vendors, and none of them charge me $50 to ship $50-worth of product!

The package of products arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well with foam insulation and ice packs keeping everything chilled perfectly. With all the many varieties of sausages, pates and Jambon we haven’t tried everything yet. The Boudin Noir and Jambon de Bayonne were excellent like we were back in the Basque Country! We look forward to trying more and sharing with family and friends. You will have more customers knowning about Fabriqe Delices!

French native and loving boudin noir however it is so hard to find in the US. These are a great quality and sealed so I can keep my freezer stocked for the year. No brainer

Best boudin noir I’ve had here in the US and France for that matter.

I am French and know a thing or two about boudins noirs. These are very similar to the ones back home. I am so pleased to find such a great producer in the US.

I’ve been on a quest to find the best blood sausage. I am very pleased to say my quest is now over! This is just my opinion of course, I have found the best blood sausage in the country (short of my family recipe)! I grew up on a farm in the Midwest and we butchered all of our own meat to include beef, pork and poultry. Our butcher’s were a family affair to include aunts, uncles and cousins! While there were lots of favorite foods that came out of the meat processing, my all time favorite was the pork blood sausage! There was a family recipe that had been handed down through the generations (German heritage)! I’m an old man now and our family stopped butchering years ago. Fortunately my very close cousins have continued the tradition and are generous enough to share the harvest occasionally when I make it back home for a visit. However once a year or two doesn’t satisfy my hunger for the old family style blood sausage. I’m very thankful to my brother on the west coast who found this brand and suggested I try it! I now have a go to source and will be a loyal customer!!

The shipping is high but worth it. They came nicely packed with ice.
The shipping was fast. We enjoyed our dinner together. Will definitely buy again, and again!

Casing was tough, inside was too mushy.

The boudin noir is perfect! Exactly what you would be served in France. And it's not expensive.

Best boudin noir I've had! I am huge fan of the blood sausage; have tasted many authentic Irish black puddings bust this one is definitely my favorite. It's super rich in flavor, has a great texture when fried, with none of the fillers. It's also an excellent choice for anyone doing the keto diet.

The boudin was good, I found the skin a little tough.
